Our FREE Hanoi City Tour is a deeper follow-up to the FREE Old Quarter Tour, created for travelers who want more context and understanding. This walk reveals Hanoi’s cultural layers, from lakeside spirituality and national history to classical education. Guided by passionate locals, you will explore major landmarks and everyday stories at a relaxed, comfortable pace.
1️⃣ Tran Quoc Pagoda
Begin the tour at Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest Buddhist temple in Hanoi. Surrounded by peaceful gardens, this lakeside pagoda offers insight into Vietnamese Buddhism and its long-standing role in local spiritual life.
2️⃣ West Lake Lakeside Walk
Continue with an easy walk along West Lake, the largest lake in the city and a popular retreat for locals. Along the shore, your guide will share stories, legends, and daily habits that show how Hanoians relax and connect with nature.
3️⃣ Ho Chi Minh Square and Surrounding Landmarks
